Opportunity Description
Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist needed for long-term contract role ASAP. Ideal candidate will have solid full-cycle Accounts Payable experience with general bookkeeping skills. Strong Excel skills and experience with MS Navision and Concur preferred.
Job Duties
- Assist in processing Accounts Payable related transactions into the accounting system
- Match invoices against purchase orders and corresponding vendorstatements
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Assist month end close process by reconciling accounts
- Monitor invoice aging and track accurately within Excel
- Communicate with vendors on invoice payments and discrepancies
- Scan and file invoices and upload into accounting system
Experience & Skills Required
- Associate's in Accounting or Business related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience within a consumer products or manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience working within accounting software
